The empowerment and autonomy of women and the improvement of their political, social, economic and health status is a highly important end in itself. As a step towards economic upliftment of women, Centre for value education cell of the college has started a project, “Earn While You Learn” in which the students belonging to economically weaker section will make utility articles (like bags, bottle covers, aprons) in their free time. The college will help these students in creating market for their products so as to make them not only independent but also inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship.
